Mangalore, Jul 24: ICYM diamond jubilee Cross entered South Zone deanery on Sunday July 23 and was welcomed at Tokkottu junction by hundreds of devotees.
City deanery ICYM president Thomas D'Souza handed over the Holy Cross to South Zone deanery vicar var Fr Andrew D'Souza.
Permannur parish priest Fr Thomas D'Souza and Br Roshan D'Souza led the prayer session and Fr Andrew D'Souza preached the sermon. ICYM South Zone president Alwyn Fernandes, secretary Sonia Barboza, parish council vice-president Harry Tellis, Permannur ICYM president Arun D'Souza, ICYM office bearers, diamond jubilee committee members, ICYM central committee office bearers were also present on the occasion.
Later the Holy Cross was taken to Permannur church on procession.
