Mumbai, Jul 25: The miraculous escape of the little boy Prince from a 60 feet deep uncovered borewell, was celebrated at Papillon Park at Andheri here, on Sunday July 23 night.


The Tulu-Kannadiga community was touched by the plight of Prince and the efforts of various people involved in the rescue operations. Raghu L Shetty, famous hotelier, arranged for the viewing of the entire rescue operation shown on television, at the Papillon Park.


Office bearers of Juhu Andheri Versova Association of Bunts (JAVAB), local hoteliers and many others got together in this celebration.

Prakash Bhandari, police officer, I R Shetty, honorary chief secretary, JAVAB, N C Shetty of Bunts Association, Dr Vachan Shetty, Karunakar Shetty of Peninsular Association and Bhaskar Shetty, were present on the occasion.
