Mumbai, Jul 27: The Kannada Prachara Samiti, Mumbai recently organized a felicitation programme to honour students who though having studied in Kannada medium schools, have secured distinction at the college level. The programme was held at the Rotary Service Centre, Vidyavihar East here.
Subash B Shetty, well-known advocate and president, Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti, was the chief guest. Dr Sanjeeva Shetty, convenor, presided over the programme.
Balakrishna Bhandary, vice president, Bhandary Seva Samaja, Mumbai, Rt Raghunath Shetty, vice president, Rotary Club Ghatkopar and M G Ganagi, engineer, MTNL, were present as guests of honour.
Archana Poojary, B.A, of R J College, Udaya Poojary and Reshma Shetty, B.Com, Somaiah College and Rajashri Shetty, B.Com, MCC College, were honoured on the occasion.
Ravi Shetty of Kannada Prachara Samiti, Babu Gowda, Umesh Devadiga were present. Sandhya Ganiga, compered the programme. Raghu Poojary gave the vote of thanks.
