MUMBAI, July 27: A car driven by a woman taking driving lessons ran over two persons, killing them, in Mahim on Thursday, police said.
The victims were walking on the footpath early in the morning, police said. The identity of the victims is yet to be established.
While the woman, who was at the steering wheel, was detained, one more person who was also in the car, was being held for questioning.
The two were booked for negligent driving, police said, adding that the bodies of victims have been sent to Sion hospital for post-mortem.
