Sewak Ram Sharma is interim telecom secretary

New Delhi, July 1 (IANS): Sewak Ram Sharma, secretary, Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY), has been given the additional charge of the post of the secretary, Department of Telecommunications (DoT), for three months, an official statement said here Tuesday.

He succeeded M.F. Farooqui, who retired on June 30, 2014.
