Mumbai, July 3 (IANS): The country's biggest and premier stock market, BSE, was down since opening hours owing to a connectivity hitch here Thursday morning, an official said.
"Due to a network outage being currently faced, BSE has decided to close all markets," an official statement added.
A team of the BSE's network service vendor, HCL, was working to resolve the issue.
After the network issues are resolved, the markets will restart, the official said.
