Beltangady, Aug 1: James (35), owner of "Preethi Studio" near Church Cross here ended his life by hanging himself to death in his rented house at Halekote on Monday July 31.

James who hailed from Manjotti near Nada owned 'Preeti Studio' here.  He was staying a rented house at Halekote area.  On Monday his neighbours peeped into his house through the window after they noticed that James had not come out from the house in the morning. It was only then that they saw him hanging from the roof of his rented room.

Later the police entered the house by removing the tiles of the roof and lowered his body and shifted it to hospital of autopsy.

The sources also said that James was married and has a young daughter.  It is said that he was facing financial constraints owing to which he ended his life.

Beltangady photographers association has condoled his death.

Beltangady police have registered a complaint in this regard.
