Moodbidri, Aug 1: A medical student from Sakleshpur in Hassan district who had come to meet one of his friends died in a road mishap at Alangar on Monday July 31 midnight.
Dr Venugopal who had recently completed his initial medical education from Alva's College here had joined a college in Bangalore for his higher studies. On Monday he had come to meet one of his friends here.
Around 12 in the midnight, he was riding his mobike and going back when the mobike skidded near Alangar on National Highway 13. As a result he fell on the road and sustained critical injuries and died later.
His body has been shifted to PHC here. The Moodbidri police have registered a case in this regard.
