German coach Loew hails his players

Rio de Janeiro, July 6 (IANS/EFE): Germany coach Joachim Low believes that the secret behind his side advancing to the semi-finals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup for the fourth consecutive time lies in the great players.

Germany grabbed a 1-0 win over France in the quarterfinals Friday at the Maracana here to make it to the semis, reports EFE.

Loew gushed over his country's side as it has won in 28 matches out of 31 since the 2006 World Cup, describing the team as "strong and outstanding."

The 54-year-old boss went on to say that Brazil’s hot weather was a big advantage for the south American teams over their European counterparts.

Low was concerned about his side’s upcoming match against Brazil in the semi-finals slated for Tuesday and said that it will certainly be difficult.
