Mumbai, July 7: Vidya Balan starrer 'Bobby Jasoos' opened to an average response at the box office.
The movie was able to collect Rs 7 crores on the first weekend, which is very low for a Vidya Balan starrer; the movie was directed by Samar Shaikh.
It was produced by Dia Mirza and Saahil Sanga. The movie also stars Ali Fazal, Supriya Pathak and Kiran Kumar in pivotal roles.
The movie received average reviews from critics. The first day collection of the movie was Rs 2 crores. On the second and third day, the movie increased its collections marginally to Rs 2.5 crores each day.
The budget of the film is Rs 18 crores. So it is easy for the producers to recover the money. There were huge expectations from the movie, but Vidya Balan's fans are disappointed with the outcome.
