Udupi, Aug 3: While it has become common to read about thefts, robbery and  cheating every day without fail, now and then reports of honest and upright dealings provide a glimmer of hope.

On Tuesday, a medical representative from Mandarti, Chandrashekhar Shetty, after arriving from Kokkarne, had tiffin in Durga Restaurant in Mandarti.

Proceeding to Mabukala later on his motorcycle, Shetty had lunch at Pavitra restaurant there. While paying the bill, he realized he had lost his case containing valuables.

Immediately he rushed back to Mandarti to enquire with the owner of Durga, also a Chandrashekhar Shetty, who promptly returned the case left behind, with all contents like credit card, Rs 7,000 in cash and passport intact.

The grateful medical rep may have wished that the other Shetty's tribe increase.
