Barcelona, July 10 (IANS/EFE): FC Barcelona’s doctors visited Neymar in his house in Brazil to check on his injury.
“The club’s medics confirmed that the Brazilian football federation's (CBF) diagnosis that Neymar had fractured the L3 vertebrae in his back is correct. The CBF and Barcelona’s doctors are in agreement on the type of treatment the player will undergo in his recovery process. The player is recovering well and he’ll continue his recovery in Barcelona starting Aug 5,” said a club statement, reports Efe.
The player was injured last week after a violent collision with Colombian player Camilo Zuniga during the World Cup quarter-final. The Selecao were eliminated from the World Cup in the semi-finals after a 1-7 drubbing at the hands of Germany Tuesday.
