Mangalore, Aug 7: The chairman of Prasar Bharati M V Kamath said here on Sunday Aug 6 that it is not the Muslims and Christians who abuse Hindutva but "some intellectuals'' among Hindus.
He was delivering a keynote address at the inauguration of a seminar on "Hindutva and nationality and secularism and Hindutva'' organised by Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar birth centenary committee.
Kamath said that a situation had arisen where some intellectuals view speaking about Hindutva as a crime.
India stands for values and the Hindu dharma upholds morality, ethics and a way of behaviour, he said.
He also criticized sections of the media for attacking Hindutva.
