Kundapur, Aug 8: A bike rider was killed in a ghastly road accident at Tallur near here on Monday August 8.
The deceased has been identified as Madhukar Devadiga (34), son of Annayya Devadiga of Bijoor near here. He was on his way home riding his M-80 vehicle from the city. His friend Sanjeev Mogaveera (30) was riding pillion when the accident took place.
As a result Madhukar sustained serious injuries and died on the spot while Sanjeev has been admitted to the hospital with critical injuries.
Madhukar had married just two months ago, said the family sources. He was owning a bicycle shop at Bijoor.
Kundapur police have registered a complaint in this regard.
