Mangalore, Aug 9:  ‘Madime’, a Tulu comedy play by Kalasangama art troupe will be staged at Town Hall on Aug 9.

The troupe will then go to Maharastra where it will put up 25 shows. The play scripted and directed by Vijay Kumar Kodialbail will perform in Mumbai, Poona, Nasik, Kalyan and other places of Maharastra between Aug 11 and Sept 1.

With several novelties included in the play, the plot hovers around the hurdles faced by a middle class family in marriage preparations.

A comic and a thriller, the play has five songs choreographed by Madan-Harini.’

With music by K Vijay the main cast includes Rajesh Bantwal, Rohini, Ramesh Kalladka, Jagaram, Anisha Kulal and Nayana Sachin.

In the third phase the troupe plans to have performances in Dubai, Baharin, Qatar, Muscat in the month of December, informed Vijay Kumar Kodialbail.
