Honda to replace faulty parts in Accord and CR-V


New Delhi, July 16 (IANS): Automobile manufacturer Honda Cars India Wednesday said it will carry out preventive replacement of passenger side air bag inflator in luxury sedan Accord and sports utility vehicle (CR-V).

According to the company, it is carrying out the activity as part of a global exercise by Honda Motor Company to ensure stringent quality standards. Currently, there has been no reporting of any incident related to this part in India. 

The company said in a statement that it will replace the part in 1,085 units of Accord and 252 units of CR-V manufactured in 2003 and one unit of CR-V manufactured in 2002 as part of Honda's global recall.
