Aircel launches 4G services in four circles

New Delhi, July 16 (IANS): Telecom service provider Aircel Wednesday launched fourth generation (4G) services across four circles -- Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar and Odisha, the company said here.

"The wireless broadband services offered will help customers transform their workplaces and homes into 'smarter' entities," the company's Chief Marketing Officer Anupam Vasudev said.

Aircel holds 20MHz of spectrum in the 4G LTE 2300 MHz band across eight circles -- Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, North East and Jammu and Kashmir.

Aircel is the second service provider in India to launch 4G services after Bharti Airtel.
