Bangalore, July 23 (IANS): Haryana CA (Cricket Association) pulled off a fine 136-run win over Orissa CA after Abhimanyu Khod (104 not out, 120b, 11x4, 4x6) and Sunny Singh (112, 105b, 15x4, 2x6) struck centuries in the KSCA’s All-India cricket tournament here Wednesday.
Khod, who had scored 194 in the first innings, rode on his good form with another century to help Haryana pile up 250 for seven declared to set Orissa, who had taken a one-run first innings lead, a target of 250. Orissa’s chase never took off as they were dismissed for 113.
Elsewhere, Shishir Bhavane scored an unbeaten 213 (307b, 23x4, 5x6) and Abhishek Reddy made 160 (236b, 22x4) for KSCA Colts who drew their match with D.Y. Patil Academy.
KSCA XI and Cricket Association of Bengal won against Tripura CA by an innings and 152 runs, and Goa CA by seven wickets, respectively.
At Mysore, National Cricket Academy thrashed Kerala CA by an innings and six runs while Mumbai CA drew a rain-curtailed match with Assam CA.
