Netaji Subash Chandra Bose’s Car found in a Godown in Jharkhand


Dhanbad, Jul 27 (Sources)  : A baby Austin car believed to be used by Indian Freedom fighter and hero of armed struggle hero, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose is found in a godown of a corporate company. 

The news first reported by Dainik Bhaskar, says, the car used by Subhash Chandra Bose, he  traveled in across most places in Jharkhand between 1930 to 1941 and it lies in a dilapidated condition. 

The company in which it was found is Warari Coke Plant in Dhanbad. 


Though there is no formal confirmation or the government taking it’s control,  the managing director Tapas Lahiri has passed instructions to hand it over to local administration.

    The car is the picture surely did not exist in the 1930s. It was only after mid-1940s that this genre of pointed bonnet and lower grilled cars came out.
