Twin blasts in Nigeria kill five


Abuja, July 28 (IANS): At least five people were killed in two bomb blasts in Nigeria's Kano city, a mainly Christian area, Sunday afternoon, police said.

The first blast occurred under a bridge in the Sabon Gari district of Kano. But no casualties occurred. The second bomb hit the Saint Charles Catholic Church in the same area, killing at least five people and injured many others, Xinhua reported.
