New Delhi, July 31 (IANS): It was a humid Thursday in Delhi with light rains in some parts of the city at the end of the day. The met department has forecast more showers Friday.
Rain occurred in parts of Northwest Delhi, a met official said.
"Friday will be cloudy and light rains are expected," the official forecast.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
The maximum temperature Thursday was recorded three notches above the season's average at 36.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled two notches above seasons's average at 28.2 degrees Celsius.
The humidity rose to a high of 83 percent.
