Two suffocate to death in Delhi medical lab fire


New Delhi, July 31 (IANS): Two technicians suffocated to death in a fire at a medical laboratory in the early hours of Thursday, police said.

The blaze took place around 3 a.m. in the three-storey lab located in Tilak Nagar area of west Delhi.

The bodies of Vipin, 29, and Robin, 32, were found two hours later, when the fire was brought under control by seven fire tenders.

Soon after the fire engulfed the ground floor, 10 people managed to come out of the building, but Vipin and Robin were trapped on the first floor, a police officer said.
