Toyota's July sales down 4.30 percent


New Delhi, Aug 1 (IANS): Indo-Japanese automobile company Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) Friday reported a 4.30 percent decline in sales for last month which stood at 13,847 units from 14,470 units sold in July 2013.

The company said its domestic sales grew at four percent in the month under review from 11,515 units in 2013. 

The company said it expects the sales momentum to pick up in the festive season. 

"We look forward to a further improvement in customers' purchasing sentiments with the beginning of the festive season,” said N. Raja, director and senior vice-president, sales and marketing.
