Bangalore, Aug 1: All India U-14- 5 A Side Football Tournament 2014 was organized by Denz Foundation in association with Ksfa-Bdfa at Bangalore Football Stadium.
Quarter finals matches were conducted on Sunday July 27.
There were four sets of quarter finals matches. In the first set, ABC Poyilkavu SEPT,Calicut was defeated by Kodugu Academy(1-3).
SEPT.Calicut defeated ROOTS, Bangalore in the second set(2-0).
YSC, SEPT, Mallapuram lost the match to Agniputra (3-2) in the third set.
Cresent,Calicut beat Jain United,Bangalore in the fourth set (2-0).
Kodugu Academy beat Sept. Calicut in the penalty shoot out(3-1). Ramesh, Jeevan, Sahid scored for Kodagu Academy and Maxzin Sarvan for Sept. Calicut.
Cresent, Calicut 0(4) lost to Agnipurtra, Bangalore 0(3). Rahul, Promod, Sursh and Sujith were the Cresent, Calicut scorers while Sreejith, Shresh and Akhilesh scored for Agniputra.
In the looser semifinals for third and fourth place Sept. Calicut beat Cresent Calicut (2-0).
Kodugu Academy lost the final match to Angniputra Fc, Bangalore (0-1).
The first Denz Foundation All India U-14-5-A Side Trophy was awarded to Bangalaore's Agniputra F.C.
Rs 40,000 was awarded to the winners while the runners were awarded with Rs 30,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.

S T Bhoopal, secretary, Bdfa distributed the trophies and cash prizes.
The tournament was the brainchild of Denzil Fernandes, chairman of Denz foundation who organized the two days tournament at Bangalore Football Stadium with great efficiency and management. There were 64 teams taking part in the tournament.
