Lisicki defeats Errani at Rogers Cup

Washington, Aug 5 (IANS): Sabine Lisicki beat 13th seed Sara Errani 6-1, 7-5 at the Rogers Cup.

Lisicki, who recorded the fastest serve in WTA history last week at Stanford, found the going easy against her Italian opponent Monday, reports Xinhua.

The German will next face the winner of the match between Svetlana Kuznetsova and Madison Keys in the second round.
