New Delhi, Aug 6 (IANS): It will be a cloudy Wednesday here with the possibility of rainfall in some areas, said the Met Office.
"The sky will be generally cloudy today (Wednesday). Very light rain/thundershowers may occur in some areas," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius.
Wednesday's minimum temperature was recorded a notch above the season's average at 27.6 degrees Celsius.
The city has received 0.4 mm of rainfall since Tuesday.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 80 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 33.5 degrees Celsius - average for this time of the season, while the minimum was 26.8 degrees Celsius - also average for this time of the season.
