Ankara, Aug 7 (IANS): Turkish Spor Toto Super League Trabzonspor is expected to sign Benfica's Paraguayan forward Oscar Cardozo, said a Trabzonspor statement on its web site.
Trabzonspor will pay Cardozo 7.5 million euros ($10 million) for three seasons and 12,000 euros per match, Xinhua cited from the statement Wednesday.
The Turkish club stated that Benfica will get 5 million euros as a transfer fee.
The 31-year-old Paraguayan international scored 165 goals for Lisbon club Benfica in 287 matches.
He also helped the team win the Portuguese Premier League title twice and played two back-to-back UEFA Europa League finals in 2013 and 2014.
