Mumbai, Aug 25: The Versova police on Thursday August 24, arrested bar dancer Tarranum, her father Jaffar Khan and personal bodyguard Raju Parkar for allegedly assaulting Babu Rajput, a former watchman at her bungalow.

Rajput told the police that he had not been paid for months by the bar girl and went to claim his dues worth Rs 6,000 when the trio allegedly manhandled him. Investigating officer Arun Borude, refused to comment on the incident.
Last year, Tarannum hit the headlines after an income tax raid found Rs 2 crore cash in her house.
It also led to a trail of property investments. A probe also revealed that the bar girl had numbers of bookies on her mobile phone.
