Mumbai, Aug 9: "Shankha Chakras are the symbols of Narayan deity. Scriptures say that we should wear them after making them hot in the sacred fire reciting Sudarshan Mantra. If we do that at least once in a year, we will be reminded that our body is for the service of almighty," said Vishwa swamiji.
"While we stamp our body with the stamp of the almighty denoting that our bodies are devoted to the almighty, we will not be troubled by devil and evil spirits. Like the way the property with government's seal cannot be touched by others, our bodies with the seal of almighty will not be influenced by evil spirits," he said.
After stamping on the bodies of the devotees, distributing sugar candy and blessing them, Vishweshatheertha Swamy spoke saying that the Mudradharana is a religious practice of Vaishnava sect. "It is also a programme that inspires us devote ourselves to Vishnu deity and live as per the wishes of the almighty. It is an instrument to keep our bodies within a bracket. It can also bring about the elevation of humanity," he said.
