New Delhi, Aug 9 (IANS): The national capital experienced a sultry Saturday with traces of rain in some areas. The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy Sunday with light showers.
"The sky will be partly cloudy tomorrow (Sunday) and some parts of the city will get light rain," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 34 degrees and 27 degrees Celsius respectively.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 35.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum was 27.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above average.
The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 87 percent.
