Apollo Hospitals net shows marginal rise


Chennai, Aug 12 (IANS): City-based healthcare major Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd Tuesday reported a marginal 4.81 percent increase in its net profit for the first quarter of current fiscal.

In a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said it closed the first quarter with a total revenue of around Rs.1,060.17 crore and a net profit of Rs.82.74 crore.

For the comparable period last year, the company had posted a revenue of around Rs.901.20 crore and a net profit of Rs.78.94 crore.
