Sao Paulo, Aug 14 (IANS): Having missed out on Brazil's 2014 World Cup squad, playmaker Lucas Moura, one of the brightest Brazilian prospects, wants a chance under new coach Dunga.
The 22-year-old said Wednesday he believes in his own potential and is willing to work hard to earn another chance with the Selecao Brasileira, reported Xinhua.
"This chance (to play for Brazil) depends on us, our effort and our productivity. I don't have any doubt that either I or Marquinhos (his PSG teammate) have the capacity to play and represent out Selecao," he said.
Lucas is aware if he is to return to the national side, his club form must see an improvement. The former Sao Paulo star suffered an indifferent season in the French capital last term.
"My desire is also to help PSG. I am happy to be part of this project and I want to improve to help the team win titles," he said.
Dunga will name his first Brazil squad for the friendly against Colombia Sep 5 later this month.
