New Delhi, Aug 14 (IANS): The Lok Sabha was Thursday adjourned sine die after a more than month-long budget session.
The session, which began July 7, saw major legislative business being carried out including passing of the general budget and the judicial appointments bill.
On Thursday, the Lok Sabha passed a bill to amend the apprenticeship act and discussed incidents of communal violence under rule 193.
Speaker Sumitra Mahajan adjourned the house sine die after Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi gave her reply to a discussion on rising atrocities against women and children.
