Udupi, Aug 1: ABVP local unit in a splashing incident held college bundh and took to streets protesting against the deputy commissioner for his alleged mis-conduct with their delegation on Friday September 1 morning.
The students said that deputy commissioner Ponnuraj did not behave properly with their delegation which had gone to meet him with regard to the revision of bus fare on Thursday August 31. The students said that the DC asked them to go out from his office without even listening to their problems.
They demanded that the DC should apologize and they would not call off their protest till he personally apologizes to them. Meanwhile, a total of 15 students have been arrested in this regard.
