New Delhi, Aug 17 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday greeted the nation on the occasion of Janmashtami.

"Greetings on Janmashtami! May Lord Krishna bless our lives with peace, prosperity and happiness," he tweeted.

Janmashtami marks the birth of Lord Krishna.
