Windhoek (Namibia), Aug 17 (IANS): Fourth seeded India, with an unbeaten record in Group D, qualified for the quarter-finals of the WSF Junior World Team Squash Championship for men here Sunday, defeating Colombia 3-0 in their concluding league fixture.
India earlier defeated Kuwait and Guatemala 3-0 each and thus topped their group.
Kush Kumar, a semi-finalist in individual singles who was rested for the match against Guatemala, played in the remaining two matches to spearhead the Indian challenge.
He won convincingly to provide a perfect platform for the others to finish the job. Except for Vijay Kumar Meena, who was stretched in the second match of the tie against Colombia, the rest were easy.
