Kundapur, Sep 4: The Bajrang Dal activists managed to get hold of two persons who were transporting 11 cattle illegally to abattoir at Bhatkal, at Mushki near Navunda here in the early hours of Monday September 4.
The arrested have been identified as Abubakar and Ashraf of Navunda. However, two more accused Abdul Khadar and Narayana Ganiga have managed to escape.
The Bajrang Dal activists were waiting for the cattle runners after receiving sure tip-off. So they chased the vehicle and managed to nab them at Byndoor Junction. Byndoor police have seized the vehicle and the cattle.
