Mumbai, Sep 4: Jaya C Suvarna has been re-elected as the president of Mumbai Billawa Association.

He was unanimously elected  by the association, owing to his service to the Billawa community and for giving ample support to the association through his post as president. Suvarna is also the working president of Bharat Cooperative Bank and the president of National Billawa Federation. 


L V Amin and Y Nagesh

According to the new rules, four persons, Y Nagesh, Vasudeva R Kotian, M B Kukkian and L V Amin, were elected as vice-presidents. Nithyananda D Kotian will continue to serve in the capacity of honorary chief secretary. C O Salian was re-elected as the chief secretary, while Shankar D Poojary, Dharmesh S Salian and U Dhananjayakumar were elected as joint secretaries.

Bhaskar V Bangera was elected as chief treasurer, while Udaya S Salian, Ganesh M Billawa, Mahesh Karkala and Premnath P Kotian were elected as the joint treasurers. Ganesh K Poojary was elected as the chief of Sevadal and Sachin S Poojary and Rajesh J Bangera were chosen as the internal auditor of the association.
