Udupi, Sep 6: "It is quite impossible to return even a bit of what we gain from our teachers.  We can only recognize their services and respect them for what they are and what they do to the society at large.  It should be our privilege to honour them," said K P Acharya, correspondent of Vidyaniketan Education Group, Kaup.

He was speaking after honouring veteran freedom fighter and teacher Babu Master during the teahcers' day celebrations held at Vidyaniketan Public School on Tuesday September 5.

Mohammad Fareed, principal of Vidyaniketan PU College, Vidyaniketan High School headmaster Vinayak Kini, Prof B V Kere were also present on the occasion.

Krattika welcomed the gathering while Sahana proposed the vote of thanks on the occasion.  Apoorva compered the programme.
