Mumbai, Sep 8: Every year at St. Joseph’s Church Mira Road, feast of Nativity Celebrated with great joy.

Procession started from Church ground at 9.30AM.  More than 3000 people participated in the procession. Since holiday declared to Holy Cross and St. Joseph’s Schools, children had come in big numbers.




At 10 AM Fr. Dominic Vas (OCD), Provincial – Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra Province, celebrated the Holy Mass with Fr. Rudolf V. D’ Souza (Parish Priest) and Fr. Deepak Thomas (Asst. Parish Priest).

“ In our society we see most of the parents give good education to boys, they do not treat boys and girls equally. We must give good education to girls also, so that they can stand on their own feet in the future ” Fr. Dominic Vas said. He urged all to respect women in the family and in the society.





During the mass Fr. Dominic Vas cut the Birthday cake and he also released a prayer book “Meeting the God – Through daily Prayers ”

At 10 AM Fr. Elias D’ Souza celebrated Mass for children in the community hall.





After the mass the blessed corn was distributed to all.

Sweets and Sugarcanes distributed to children.
