Mumbai, Sep 9: The Feast of Nativity was celebrated on a grand-scale in the metro city on Friday September 8. People thronged into Churches and participated in the Solemn Eucharistic celebrations and nativity celebrations.
A special celebration was held at Our Lady of Vailankanni Church at Irla, Andheri (W). Devotees from all religions and all walks of life attended the religious service and celebrated the feast. With this, the nine-day long novena of Mother Mary too came to an end.
On Friday novena and the Eucharistic celebrations were held in different languages. Konkani novena and mass was held in the evening.
