St.Josephs’ Konkani Charismatic Prayer Group, Abu Dhabi, celebrated Monti Fest during their weekly prayer meeting on 8th September, 2006, in the parish small hall.
Commencing with the Rosary at 8 pm, followed by Fr.Antony P.A, spiritual director, speaking on the occasion, said, “the wonderful gift we can give to our dear mother is to say”yes” to do all good things when we get opportunities, as the mother said “yes”, to God’s call.”. Fr.Antony cut the cake in honor of mother’s birthday, with the singing of “mariyek Hogolsiyan”.
Br.Rupert Vaz, lead the congregation to a wonderful praise and worship to God almighty for the gift of mother to the world, followed by, singing by the choir, the traditional devotional songs in honor of mother Mary.
More than 275 people attended the meeting, concluded by a sumptuous, delicious vegetarian meal.
