Mumbai, Sep 9: Montifest was celebrated at St Theresa church Bandra by the Konkani Community on Saturday 9, 2006
Fr Richard Lasrado of Vakola church was the main celebrant of mass.
Fr Baptist Pais, Fr Rudolf D`Souza, Fr John Mascarenhas, Fr Vincent Barboza, Fr Lancy Mendonca were also participated in the holy mass.
A cultural event was organized after the mass, John S Rebello of Aircare was the chief guest.
Other noted personalities present are Christian Chamber of Commerce president Vincent Mathias, Rony Mendonca of Kalangan, Suzan Coelho of Divo weekly, singer Nefi Rodrigues, office bearer Juliet D`Silva, Kaviraj J B Sequeira, Henry Lobo of Preema Offset, Godwin Olivera of Delight Galaxy.
Joy Saldanha compered the event, Alwyn Cutinho proposed vote of thanks
Jery Bondel and his team presented musical programs, jokes and dances were also part of the event
