New Delhi, Aug 29 (IANS): It was a cloudy Friday morning here with a minimum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season. The Met Office has forecast light rain in many parts of the city.
"The sky is most likely to remain cloudy. Rain is expected in many parts of Delhi later in the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
"The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius," he added.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m was 81 percent.
Rainfall recorded since late Thursday was 6.8 mm.
Thursday was cloudy with a maximum temperature of 37.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 28.4 degrees Celsius.
