Chennai, Aug 29 (IANS): Southern composer Devi Sri Prasad aka DSP, who has returned to India after a month-long musical tour in different US cities, is extremely touched by the response of his overseas fans to his concerts.

"The happiest moment for any musician is performing in front of amazing fans that fill our ears and hearts with reverberating cheering applause. I felt that experience when I had recently toured US for my music concerts. I was stunned when I saw the tremendous reception that people gave for my concerts," he said in a statement.

"It gave me a great sense of satisfaction when people from all sections unanimously said that these shows were on par with international shows in terms of performances, presentation and quality," he added.

He was told that his show has "raised the standard of future Indian shows".

DSP took the opportunity and extended his gratitude to all his singers, fans and even actors such as Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun who were associated with his tour in different ways.
