Court grants man divorce over wife's demand for excessive sex

Mumbai, Aug 31 (PTI): A man, who sought separation from his wife alleging that she was aggressive and autocratic with an insatiable appetite for sex, was granted divorce by a family court here.

"Due to respondent's (wife's) non-appearance before the court, the petitioner's (husband's) evidence remains unchallenged on record. Hence this court has no option but to accept his evidence as it is and he is entitled to a decree of divorce as prayed," Principal Judge of family court, Laxmi Rao ruled in a recent order.

The husband had approached the family court in January, saying that his wife was "adamant, aggressive, stubborn and autocratic" and would pick up quarrels for no reason.

The man, in his petition told the court that she was showing an "excessive and insatiable desire for sex" and harassed him since their marriage in April 2012.

He also alleged that she administered him medicines and also forced him to consume liquor.

The husband alleged that she used to force him into having unnatural sex and whenever he tried to resist it, she would abuse him following which he had to succumb to her pressure and persistent demands.

He told the court that he worked in three shifts leaving him very tired, and even then he was compelled to satisfy her 'lust'.

The woman even went to the extent of threatening him that if her demands are not fulfilled, she will go to another man, without caring for his emotions and feelings, the court was told.

In December 2012, the man had to be hospitalised for a stomach ache during which she chose to go her sister's place, only to return after two weeks, the petition said.

Though doctors advised him to stay away from any physical relationship for a while, the wife kept up with her sexual demands, even as his health deteriorated for lack of rest, the petition submitted.

Further he said that in October 2013 he was operated for appendicitis and after discharge his wife insisted that they stay with her sister and even there, she forced him into having intercourse.

According to him, his wife even refused to visit a psychiatrist and threatened him against revealing anything to anybody.

In the petition, he said that it was intolerable for him to bear any more atrocities and that he also apprehended danger to his life and limb.

He said his wife has made his life horrible with her "cruel behaviour" and her "excessive prank for sex" has made it difficult for him to live together with her under one roof.

Judge Rao allowed the petition and dissolved the man's marriage.

Though his wife is rude she sounds sincere. Normally when a wife is having excessive sexual desire, she will turn on to other men or women cheating husband to fulfill her needs.
Many ladies keep calm & nice with their husband without making much demand but secretly will be having one or more partners, which leads to happy married life! (until they get caught)

    JNB,

Aren't you being a little too cruel towards the man now ? Actually I too meant the same - if he wants to put to his work all 24 hours of the day (8Hrs x 3 shifts), what is left for his wife ? Isn't it natural that she starves for s*x ? Isn't it natural that she rips him apart whenever she gets hands on him ?

That is exactly why I said, lets wait and see if she accepts this divorce order or if the real story comes to the fore when she files for counter charges !

well, court must have given this verdict on its wisdom.. not debating it.. but here I feel the woman was quite normal!!...

"dharmecha, arthecha, kaamecha... Naati charami".. this is the oath husband takes, when he gets married, in hindu culture!! which means, I will not drift away from Dharma, money, sex ... and will keep her satisfied in all three aspects! .. "Roopeshu rambha, karaneshu mantri, Shayaneshu Veshya, ,..kshamaya dharitri" .. this is a man's exprectation.. for his wife too!! if you want "sexual satisfiaction" like a prostitute does, you better satisfy her!! .. if she claimed divorce cos he cant satisfy, her, then yes, court is right!... so quoting this judgement, if somone goes to court, saying, "my wife asks for money and goes shopping a lot, I cant keep her" shoul a diovorce bee granted?..

ridiculous it would be! and guess what, no woman would come to court and defend herself, if such ridiculous defence is established, to keep her honour intact!... just my 2 cents on the subject!

I don't find anything funny here.
She didn't appear in the court because she did not wish to tell the world how sexy she is.
There would have been a long queue
next day in front of her house.
Most men are like that recently.
    Nothing wrong in this.
In fact the court should have granted her permission to have more than one husband. Why not.?
Muslim men can have 4 wives.!!!!!

On the other side, lady beasts like above one are hungry for sex and torture their men...huh!!!It is better for ladies like her hand over themselves to prostitution. So that our young girls life is saved.

When our First Miss Universe, Susmita sen was asked the last question, what she means by a woman, she said "Woman is the greatest gift of God. The origin of a child is woman, by sharing and caring, she is able to show to the man what love is all about."

This woman is a nymphomaniac. Nymphomania is a mental disease which can be corrected by proper psychiatric treatment. No doubt, our legal system is going by the law, hence, there is no place for psychology. This woman could have been corrected if the man had taken her to a psychiatrist rather than to the court. I really pity the woman, because she is not bad, but her mind is a little out of normal path due to any reason out of many that controls our mind. She should have been treated like any patient with due care. Unlike man, a woman gives sex for love and not love for sex.

Jossey baab, at least respect your Gujrati friend's wife, who was weeping silently, for these many years. It is impossible for anyone to describe her anguish. And the extreme loneliness she might have felt. It is not fun. Certainly she didn't choose to live alone, but that loneliness was imposed on her. May God bless her.

First of all three shifts for what? and after having worked in three shifts where is the energy for sex. He should have worked only one shift and satisfied her. here not just sex, but she has no one to talk love if this guy works in three shifts. She must be just waiting to pounce on this man when he returned home. The court should have asked him to work only in one shift and see the change. So i feel man is to be blamed cause he is never at home.

He could not maintain a wife from financially sound background so he had to work in three shifts.

Must wait and see if the wife agrees for this divorce or will file counter suit.
