Hyundai launches sports edition of Grand i10


New Delhi, Sep 3 (IANS): Automobile manufacturer Hyundai Motor India Wednesday introduced the 'SportZ Edition' of its hatchback Grand i10 on its launch anniversary.

"Grand has created a new benchmark in the automotive industry by foraying into the list of top five most selling brands in India within the first month of full production," said Rakesh Srivastava, senior vice president, marketing and sales, HMIL.

"Grand achieved a milestone with the delivery of 100,000 Hyundai Grand cars within 10 months of its launch making it the fastest car to achieve this landmark in India."

According to the company, the Grand 'SportZ Edition' comes with a host of sporty and high-tech features like 14" diamond cut alloy wheels, blue tooth connectivity, steering mounted audio and bluetooth controls, leather wrap on steering wheel, rear spoiler, B-Pillar blackout along with body graphics.

The new vehicle is powered by an advanced second generation U2 1.1 litre CRDi diesel engine which offers a combination of optimum performance along with fuel efficiency of 24 km per litre.

The company also offers an variant powered by an all-aluminium 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine comes with Dual VTVT technology mileage of 18.9 km per litre.
