Mumbai, Sep 19: At the 78th annual meeting of the Mumbai Bunts Sangha held here on Sunday September 17 at Bhandari Estate, Kurla, here, Dr Padmanabha V Shetty was unanimously appointed as the new president of the assocation for the year 2007 – 08.
The meet was presided over by Sudhakar S Hegde, president of the association.
Padmanabha Shetty who hails from Mulki in Dakshina Kannada district, is the administrative director of Payyade International Pvt Ltd and has been a member of the Mumbai Cricket Association’s administrative committee for the last 10 years. An ardent sports lover, he is also known for his social work.
