Haryana's pretender judge booked for raping wife

Gurgaon, Sep 10 (IANS): A man who posed as a judge to cheat many people in Haryana has now been booked for raping his wife, police said Wednesday.

Aashish Kumar Sain was arrested Aug 8 from Hisar district of Haryana for duping people for over four years by pretending to allot plots in sectors under the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA).

Sain posed as a chief judicial magistrate and duped people of nearly Rs.15 crore.

Sain's 28-year-old wife has now filed a police case, saying he raped her.

"Sain met me in October 2009 and said his father was a judge. He was unmarried and said he belonged to the clan of Haryana Janhit Congress chief Kuldeep Bishnoi," she said in her complaint.

The woman said they were married in a temple and have a three-year-old child.

She said that on April 30, she came to know that Sain was already married and has two children. His father was neither a judge nor did he belong to the Bishnoi clan.

Police told IANS that Sain has been booked under several sections of the Indian Penal Code, including rape.

Prior to his arrest, Sain had two personal security officers and used red beacons on luxury cars wherever he travelled.

Police said he told people in Gurgaon that he was posted in Hisar, while he fooled people in Hisar by saying he was chief judicial magistrate in Gurgaon.
