Delhi government pays compensation for crime victims

New Delhi, Sep 10 (IANS): The Delhi government Wednesday released compensation for crime victims in 299 of the total 332 cases.

"Remaining cases are pending due to non-disclosure of names and addresses of victims of the crime cases," said a Delhi government official.

The revenue department has requested the Delhi High Court to direct the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DLSA) to mention the names and addresses of the crime victims while awarding compensation for releasing payment within the shortest period of time.
